Texas Meter & Device has been in the electric watthour meter test, repair and calibration business since 1937. In the lab or in the field, we offer a complete meter testing service for all brands and styles of electric watthour meters. Our lab and field test technicians utilize "WECO" (Watthour Engineering Company) computer controlled test equipment with N.I.S.T. traceable accuracy.

We warrant every meter as well as calibrate and supply a computer generated "as
left test" report with each meter.
We are experienced in retrofitting and programming meters with modules for automatic
electronic meter reading (AMR's) and in calibrating the retrofitted meters.
Our technicians are among the most experienced in the industry. We
structure testing programs for rural electric cooperatives, municipally-operated
electric departments and investor-owned electric utility companies.
We also feature
a pickup and delivery service for customers on our established routes.
